FireIce SG no need to buy plenty of free ones on the net tt work just as good, even better......... AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition but if u die die wanna spend money, get trendmicro
davidche SG buy Norton!! Its the best and its free and it slows your com down!!! yea! Anyway, try to get one that is popular cos the better AV is the one that updates the fastest and provides most clearing support.
chanff8 SG It still is. You've been prompted to upgrade right? It just says that Version 7.1 will no longer be supported in 2007. Just upgrade to Version 7.5 and it'll remain free AND updated
ndmmxiaomayi SG Even if so, there are other free antivirus around. To threadstarter: if you want to buy, NOD32 or Kaspersky would be good.
ditzy SG The best AV is one that never tells you to update it, never tells you there's a problem with it, never need to fiddle around with it, never need to install any anti this and that on top of it, and never need you to wonder if its actually running.
BenBenDeZhu SG AVG is better in terms of stability n its free though u need to update it yourself trendmicro is not really that good
ceecookie SG McAfee, coz it intercepted Sasser worm twice in a row when i surfed the web via my sch pc.
Wega007 SG tons of places rate such tool what... http://antivirus-software.topchoicereviews.com/ http://www.consumersearch.com/www/software/antivirus-software/fullstory.html or check out such reviews http://google-cnet.com.com/Software/2001-3513_7-0.html?tag=ont.sw I go for free!
ndmmxiaomayi SG http://www.av-comparatives.org/ It has a comprehensive list of antivirus. Read through the whole website to get a better idea. Usually antivirus that are ICSA certified are better, because they are tested and proven to work well. Non-ICSA certified means they most likely don't perform well.
lifeisgood9989 SG i don’t recommend norton antivirus.. no doubt it is good in resolving viruses.. it definitely laggs ur com.. even if u using a damn hell fast pc..
ndmmxiaomayi SG It's not good at resolving viruses unless it's in their signatures... But they are quite good at resolving hacker attacks.
